Join Weekends In the Park's Forms and Features: Poetry Workshop and discover the art of poetry in a creative and interactive environment. This workshop is designed for individuals who have a passion for writing and want to explore different forms and features of poetry.

Workshop Details

The Forms and Features: Poetry Workshop will take place on October 23, 2018. During the workshop, participants will engage in various activities and exercises that delve into the intricacies of poetic forms and features.

Workshop Schedule

  • 10:00 AM - Introduction to Different Poetic Forms
  • 11:30 AM - Exploring Meter and Rhyme
  • 1:00 PM - Lunch Break
  • 2:00 PM - Experimenting with Imagery and Symbolism
  • 3:30 PM - Embracing Free Verse and Poetic License
  • 5:00 PM - Conclusion and Open Mic Session
